LSG spinner Digvesh Rathi slapped with 50% match fee fine after send off celebration

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) spinner Digvesh Singh Rathi has been slapped with yet another fine. The player was found to have breached the IPL Code of Conduct. The spinner was slapped with a 50% fine of his match fee for failing to learn from his previous mistake. On the other hand, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant has been fined 12 lakh for maintaining a slower over rate in the match.

Previously, Digvesh Rathi was fined 25% of his match fee. The reason? His send-off celebration wasn't taken in well by the board and the IPL committee. Since the player replicated the same offense on April 04 when LSG took on MI, the board decided to enforce a harsh punishment on the player.
