One of the most sought-after questions in recent times is the retirement of ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Speculations rose after Ashwin's good friend Prasanna Agoram took to social media to post a tweet.
While no names were taken, speculations were drawn that Ashwin's last IPL match could well be the CSK vs DC clash in Chennai. He took to social media to write, "Hopefully not his last IPL game on Saturday 🙏"

Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin had a homecoming when he was bought by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Since Prasanna Agoram is a close friend of Ashwin, his tweet went viral on social media, bringing in reactions from fans far and wide.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Ravichandran Ashwin went on to announce his retirement from international cricket. The veteran spinner announced his decision to hang up his boots midway in the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT).
