Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka was heartbroken after his team was brushed aside by Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their home ground at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow in the ongoing IPL 2025 season on April 01. However, rather than venting out his frustration to the players, Goenka offered words of encouragement to the team after the game.
Acknowledging the crushing loss, the LSG owner has urged the team to bounce back stronger ahead of the rest of the matches in the IPL 2025 campaign. LSG shared the video on the social media account, where Goenka was seen lifting the spirits of the squad.

"I think there are lots of great things that you have played better. Congratulations to them, and best wishes to you all. Say, this evening, you are entitled to your disappointment. Tomorrow morning, wake up fresh, forget about this, think about next week. You have really got a great team. Just believe in yourself and look forward to tomorrow," Goenka told to LSG squad.
LSG looks to bounce back against MI
While it's still early stages in the IPL 2025 season, LSG would be keen to make a statement of sorts to other teams by managing to perform well with bat and ball. As Goenka said, they are not short of firepower, as they have Nicholas Pooran, Markram, Marsh, Pant and David Miller in the mix. The only slight worry for the side is their inexperienced bowling group.
