Lord's Cricket Stadium is set to witness history as the first-ever Women's Test between England vs India will be played at the iconic stadium. The England Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the same on Thursday, July 24. The historic match will be played from July 10 to 13 in 2026. The ECB announced the schedule for the Men's & Women's teams, with the India Women's team playing three T20Is before playing the Test at Lord's Stadium.
The red-ball game will be played after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. The Test match between the two countries is a significant and poignant moment in women's cricket. The game will be played over four days, as all women's Tests are played for that duration only. Apart from hosting India, the Nat Sciver-Brunt-led side will also host New Zealand and Ireland for a white-ball series.
