GT vs CSK Toss Updates & Playing 11: IPL 2025 Match 67; MS Dhoni Opts to Bat

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will fight it out in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 25.

With their playoff spot confirmed, Gujarat Titans are now vying for a top-two finish, while CSK, who have been eliminated, play for pride.

GT have been among the standout performers this season. They currently are placed first on the IPL 2025 points table with nine wins in 13 games. A win on Sunday will take them to the 20-point mark, locking in a top-two spot and a place in Qualifier 1, which is a crucial advantage in the race to the final.

For the Titans, captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan have been sensational, scoring 636 and 638 runs respectively. Jos Buttler, too, has been phenomenal, having scored 533 runs so far. Prasidh Krishna has picked up 21 wickets and is currently joint-highest on the wickets tally this season.

For CSK, the season has been a frustrating one. The five-time champions have managed just three victories in their 13 outings and are now out of contention for the playoffs. Much was expected when MS Dhoni returned to lead the side midway through the campaign but even the great man could not run his magic this time.

CSK will play with nothing to lose mentality in their last league game and would aim to spoil GT’s chances of finishing in the top-two.
